Am I a Gardener?

So I have published my own website as you must know and a blog to go with it! Am I blogger material? Let's find out . . .
As the driving force behind "The Vegetator" it seems only fitting that my first blog is about my passion for growing food. I should let you know that it is a newly discovered passion that I have found and therefore I haven't actually grown that much food.
Over time I have come across a lot of information that lead me to believe that knowing what processes my food has been through is one of the most basic and beneficial things anyone can do. One of the first things I did was totally ditch McDonalds because food that doesn't rot just doesn't sit right with me.
I went on a learning spree!! I would be sitting on my bed, glued to my computer, researching for hours! All these different things I was discovering that I never even knew existed! Aquaponics, permaculture, night shades, seed saving, GMO's and the list goes on. In the words of Jasmine, it was a whole new world.
The first thing I thought I should do with all this knew information was to start my very own garden of course. Being the person I am I was quickly inspired and had a sudden need to share my newly found knowledge with everyone!
But how could I begin to help people grow their own food/ garden when I was yet to do it successfully myself?! I made the first steps, and they were . . . over to my boyfriends house to put his muscles to work.
I know my assets and organising people is one of them, so with Steve's help I got my garden underway!
So far we have harvested tomatoes, corn, zucchini, chillies, strawberries and lots of herbs :)
At this point, can I call myself a gardener? I say hell YES I can! It is actually surprisingly hard to start growing your own food. You wouldn't believe my delight

when I got to pick that corn and zucchini we grew! There's no excitement quite like the excitement of gardening!
